Travel Update

Dear Friends & Family--

As you know, the Vanguard China Chorale is on their way to China tonight! Our contacts just outside of Chengdu, particularly Joanna Bogosian & Cheriss Bayard (VU Alums, teaching in China), have communicated to us that despite the large earthquake, they are safe—and it is safe for us to travel at this time. We will continue to keep tabs on how things progress, and are open to making changes at the last minute if necessary. Please contact the Music Department if you have any questions.

On behalf of Dr. James Melton and the rest of the Music Department, thank you for your prayers and support of Vanguard University’s Music Department, and the spreading of the Gospel throughout the world!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you on this trip. May you minister to many and bring hope to those whose lives have been affected by the earthquake.

Thanks for this wonderful communication tool and tell everyone hello for us.

We are also confident you will have a life-changing time!

May you clearly recall your dad's words to you like never before. May your future ignite with vision.

We are thinking of you often, and lifting you from our hearts upward.

Right now is the appointed time. Live life with a crescendo!

Got a message from Jamie Bransom that they landed safely and were on their way to Beijing.

If any families have any emails, texts, or voice messages about their progress it would be great to post.

Nothing new as of Wednesday night.
